Mid-Plains Center for Behavioral Healthcare Services, Inc. (Mid-Plains Center) is a non-profit, COA accredited, mental health organization. For nearly 50 years, Central Nebraskans have turned to Mid-Plains Center for quality, affordable behavioral health services. Established in 1971 as Mid-Nebraska Community Mental Health Center, Mid-Plains Center has expanded in the last 10 years to include a full range of behavioral services including prevention, treatment, crisis intervention, and aftercare services.

Mid-Plains Center for Behavioral Healthcare Services is currently seeking a licensed or provisionally licensed therapist to join our Grand Island/Hastings MST Team. This is an evidenced based program that focuses on addressing all environmental systems that impact adolescents presenting with persistent and problematic behaviors. MST therapists work in the home, school, and community. Therapist will blend the best clinical treatments, to include but not limited to; cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, and family therapy modalities within the MST model. Therapist will perform assessment of family strengths and needs, define problematic behaviors, and implement a treatment plan according to MST Standards. Therapist empowers parents and caregivers with the skills and resources needed to independently address difficulties that arise in raising adolescents and empower youth to cope with family, peer, school, and neighborhood problems.
