Saint Johns Residence for Boys

Mission Statement

Compelled by the Gospel message, our mission of helping children and families in crisis has not wavered since our founding in 1868. Through the provision of holistic and strength-based residential education, treatment and care, we dedicate ourselves to the healing, well-being and personal development of the youth and families we serve, assisting them towards reunification and the realization of their own self-worth.

History

From an orphan asylum in 1826 to a contemporary program serving boys and families at risk, St. John’s has undergone many changes, all of them geared to the needs of the boys and families we serve. St. John’s is a residential foster care agency for children ages 12-21 to develop and grow, as well as providing food, shelter, and space for play and leisure in a caring environment. Through the provision of holistic care, we dedicate ourselves and our lives to the children and families who turn to us for help, assisting them toward reunification and the realization of their own self-worth.
