Interested in a leadership opportunity with a leading Mental Health organization in Wilmington, NC?  Alexander Youth Network is looking for a qualified professional for an opportunity as a Program Supervisor for our MST program. Qualified applicants should have Masters Degree in a Human Service Field; MSW preferred and one year of full time post-graduate supervised mental health experience. QMHP status required. It is desired that the individual be licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or be in pursuit of licensure. It is required that the individual possess at least one year of MST experience during which time positive outcomes using the model have been demonstrated.  The individual should possess good leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with the MST Program Manager and Consultant to ensure treatment fidelity.  There should be a working knowledge of external agencies and referring sources to ensure the referral process is being maintained.  It is required that the individual possess at least one year of MST experience during which time positive outcomes using the model have been demonstrated.  The individual should possess good leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with the MST Program Manager and Consultant to ensure treatment fidelity.  There should be a working knowledge of external agencies and referring sources to ensure the referral process is being maintained.   SUMMARY:  Responsible for supervisory and administrative duties for the MST Program. Provides guidance and direct supervision of the implementation of clinical services related to the MST model and ensures treatment fidelity.  Oversees the provision of comprehensive services to adolescents and their families. Supervises subordinate MST Therapists by providing feedback as it relates to the treatment model and ensures the completion of administrative tasks required within the program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform and/or arrange for completion of intake assessments of youth referred to program. Provide weekly supervision to clinicians as relates to the MST model as evidenced by review of weekly summaries, submission to MST consultant in a timely manner and meeting with clinicians in a group setting at the established time weekly. Meet program budget through management of staff productivity, documentation review, and caseload management. Assure provision of clinical treatment (family, individual, community based services and case management) using methods compatible with MST principles, analytic process and practices as evidenced by Supervisor Adherence Measures (SAM's), Therapist Adherence Measures (TAM's) and positive outcomes with families. Perform monthly clinician development with MST therapists to address clinical and program needs as evidenced by the development of specific target goals with each clinician. The goals are established based upon clinician input, needs and TAM data. Maintain excellent communication and collaboration with community stakeholders as evidenced by positive relations, regular contact, attending community meetings, and effective problem-solving of community and program needs. In particular, ensure outstanding community relations with JCPC and DJJ as evidenced by: Regular, documented communication with JCPC and DJJ representatives Regular attendance and representation at JCPC and DJJ community and provider meetings Positive semi-annual monitoring reports Consistent referrals from DJJ Court Counselors Excellent customer service with referrals (timeline, communication) Stakeholder survey satisfaction ? 3.0. Ensure program compliance with JCPC Program Agreement(s) Meet program monthly metrics Maintain caseloads and needed productivity Maintain referral stream such that caseloads remain within MST and agency expectations of 4-6 clients per clinician. Coordinate and report to: JCPC - referral and discharge data LME - census data MST Services - update website Other Stakeholders - as needed. Provide on-call supervision to the clinicians on an as needed basis as evidenced by answering calls after hours to assist in crisis intervention or clinician needs. Ensure that clinicians are fully trained, meet health and safety requirements, and have regular and timely supervision and related performance evaluations. Meet performance improvement expectations for program by collecting and reporting agency-requested data, including outcome and customer satisfaction data. Engage in supervision with manager on a regular basis as agreed upon by supervisor and manager as evidenced by discussing clinical and programmatic needs, developments and progress of teams. Performs special projects as assigned. May manage a caseload of clients; the size of the caseload would be based on the number and size of MST teams supervised, the amount of administrative duties required, as well as the need for community involvement to meet programmatic expectations SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES The MST Supervisor directly supervises assigned MST Therapists. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The individual will need to understand how to vary language and articulation depending upon the families' needs and/or interaction with community agencies. REASONING ABILITY This individual should possess the ability to make good decisions and use proper judgment in providing services to an array of families. The individual should be able to demonstrate appropriate problem solving skills in all areas of the position. The individual should be open to receiving supervision in this area. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS It is preferred that the individual be licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or be in pursuit of licensure. It is required that the individual be a Qualified Professional. The individual will need to hold a license in Multisystemic Therapy prior to initiating services. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
