Job Details

The MST (Multisystemic Therapy) Supervisor provides direct leadership and oversight of Multisystemic Therapy Services while engaging as an organization leader supporting agency mission and values. This position will oversee the clinical and administrative supervision of MST therapists, act as a liaison between key collaborating agencies and providing ongoing training, staff development and evaluation for therapists. The MST Supervisor will oversee day to day operations of the MST service, ensuring adherence to MST principles and program fidelity with the highest quality of care for youth and families.

 

 Examples of Essential Functions

Lead, train and support MST team via weekly group supervision and individual supervision to facilitate the following with therapists: adherence to MST principles and the MST analytic process, competent implementation of interventions with family members and other participants in treatment.

Facilitate the creation of a supportive, collaborative MST team context in which therapists learn together and share responsibilities such as on-call coverage and available community resources.

Review staff performance and assist with goal development to improve clinical expertise and scope of services.

Deliver MST treatment to a caseload of 1 – 2 families.

Manage, oversee and provide support to the on-call coverage.

Promote MST program in the community and generate referrals to the program.

 

Qualified Candidates

Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Social work or a related field.

A minimum of two (2) years previous supervision experience, including hiring, training and supervising numerous team members.

At least 3 years' previous clinical experience in treating serious behavior in youth.

 

Required Special Qualification

Iowa licensure required.

Must possess a valid Driver's License and meet the Agency's driving requirements.
