ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Responsible for managing all referrals received through the MST and collaborating effectively with all referral sources. · Conducts clinical assessments for the MST program as needed and is responsible for the coordination of the intake process that will result in admission to the program. May maintain a limited caseload of MST clients, when needed. · Assure that all assessments are comprehensive and provide adequate information to determine the causes and correlates of referral behaviors to direct effective treatment within the ecological context. · Works with the Clinical Director to ensure completion of documentation requirements and steps necessary for submission of authorization requests of services through Medicaid, and State funds sources. · Works with the Clinical Director to ensure clean claim submissions and payment processes. · Responsible for ensuring compliance with all agency policies and procedures as well as applicable state and federal statutes and regulations related to programs (e.g. service definition requirements, documentation requirements, etc. · Conduct weekly group supervision for team to assure adherence to evidence based model and best practices, treatment modalities, ethical standards, and compliance with service definitions. · Conduct monthly individual supervision as needed to target clinician support and professional development, utilizing strengths-based provision of feedback that will support effective implementation of evidence-based models and treatment modalities, effective staff performance and positive client outcomes. · Provide administrative support targeting systemic barriers to treatment success.

Minimum qualifications: · Master’s degree in clinical field from an accredited institution · At a minimum provisionally licensed and working towards clinical licensure. · Two years’ experience with adolescents with mental health and substance use disorders · One year of supervisory experience. · Combination of education and experience that meets position requirements will be considered. |
Knowledge, skills and abilities: · Must demonstrate strong clinical counseling and assessment skills, and experience with clinical documentation and file management. · Demonstrating knowledge of the NC Juvenile Justice System, and local community resources. · Strong written and verbal communication skills

Other requirements: · Valid North Carolina Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record · Personal vehicle for use in conducting home visits and/or transporting clients in the event agency vehicles aren’t available · Proof of current/valid car insurance · Acceptable background report · Negative drug screen results |
Work environment: · Exposure to outside weather conditions · Potential exposure to bloodborne and/or airborne pathogens · Occasional evening and weekend hours required · Participates on-call rotation
