Job Description

Assistant Program Director sought to lead our new program providing Multisystemic Therapy services to disadvantaged youth throughout Kansas.

As an Assistant Program Director you will be expected to travel within all 4 regions to provide supervision, monitor staff performance and compliance with all policies and procedures for program operation relevant to our contractual policy. Assistant Program Directors approve and coordinate client referrals and intakes from respective contracting agencies. In addition you will assist the Program Director as needed to ensure community safety and effective program operation through internal and external monitoring of client activities and program services.   If you enjoy working as a part of a team with a valuable community-based approach, with leadership skills and are flexible, we want you to be a part of our team!

We will be providing services in the following regions:  

  • West Region: Barton, Ellsworth, Harvey, Reno, McPherson, and Saline counties.
  • East Region: Allen, Crawford, Labette, Montgomery, Neosho, and Shawnee counties.
  • Kansas City Region: Atchison, Leavenworth, and Wyandotte counties.
  • Wichita Region: Butler, Cowley, and Sedgwick counties.

MST is a highly researched and evidence-based program with numerous years of successful outcomes. Community Solutions (CSI) is one of the largest nationally licensed providers of MST and has seen success with MST for over 20 years, expanding into 8 states.

 MST therapists provide intensive in-home and community-based treatment to families of juvenile offenders. Therapists engage the primary caregiver and other key participants to promote behavior change in the youth's natural environment, with comprehensive, flexible and highly individualized services. Therapists have the flexibility of working non-traditional hours in order to best meet the needs of the families and provide on-call support to families through an on-call rotation.

Therapist receive extensive training in a research-based, outcome-driven treatment model. To ensure the best outcomes and fidelity to the model therapists receive weekly supervision, professional development, case management and consultation activities.

  • Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology and social work or related field
  • One year experience in management and supervision of staff.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
