Do you want to make a difference in your community?
Do you love working with families?
Do you have a passion for working with children and families? Community Solutions Inc. is looking for compassionate, dedicated people in the Pittsburg area covering Allen, Neosho, Crawford, Labette, Montgomery counties who want to empower youth and families by creating strength-based behavior change that will be sustained long after treatment ends.
You will receive ongoing training in the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model as you work with families, youth, their communities, and other key members of their ecology to implement MST as designed. Extensive research has proven the effectiveness of MST. MST therapists do whatever it takes, via close collaboration with all involved, to address the needs of juveniles with serious criminal offenses, including and, in some cases, substance abuse. You will empower families to address challenging and/or problematic behavior and to help youth aged 12 - 17 make life-transforming changes. Treatment progress is made through intensive interventions such as skill building, changing unhelpful family interactions, and increasing social support, to name a few. For more information on Multisystemic Therapy, please watch this video: How Does MST Work?

Our Youth Services Division is evidence based, trauma-informed, and data-driven. We work with each youth to improve academic performance, improve family dynamics, and prepare the youth to succeed at home and in the community. Balancing accountability, community protection, and competency development provides the greatest benefit to our youth.
To support our Youth Services Division we have become a national leader and licensed provider in Multisystemic Therapy, an evidence-based intensive home-based service for youth in the juvenile justice and child welfare system. In 2004 we expanded our teams and became a Network Partner for MST. This distinction allows us to hire Experts/System Supervisors qualified to provide MST 5-day orientation, MST approved booster trainings, and ongoing consultation to organizations delivering MST.
