Southeast Human Service Center is seeking a dynamic licensed clinician to lead our Multisystemic Therapy-Psychiatric (MST-Psych) Team, an in-home and community based service for Region V of North Dakota.

Southeast Human Service Center (SE HSC), located in Fargo, is the only provider in North Dakota offering MST services. The SE HSC team has a strong track record of client engagement and retention and reducing risk for out-of-home placement.

Our MST team targets helping at-risk youth and their families who may be involved with juvenile justice and/or social welfare system, at risk for hospitalization, or at-risk for dropping out of school. MST team members conduct assessments, engage caregivers and participants in change-oriented treatment, provide direct clinical treatment, document treatment efforts and recommend terminations or changes to treatment.

MST Team members maintain a full-time, Monday through Friday schedule with rotating on-call and flexibility as required to serve client needs.

To be considered for this position, you must meet one of the following education/licensing criteria:

  1. master’s degrees in Social Work, Counseling or areas approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners and ND licensure as a LCSW or LPCC.
  2. Doctorate in Psychology and ND licensure as a Psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners.

Also, you must have a valid driver’s license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new hire orientation.

Note: Individuals may apply as a Human Relations Counselor, which requires one of the following education/licensing combinations:

  1. master’s degree in Social Work and LMSW licensure
  2. master’s degree in Counseling and LPC licensure
  3. master’s degrees in Counseling and LAPC licensure, as well as be within two years of LPCC licensure. Details regarding licensure status and the number of training hours already obtained must be submitted with the application.
