Job Title: Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Therapist

Do you have a passion for promoting meaningful and healthy relationships between parents and children? Parents And Children Together (PACT) is searching for a dedicated and impactful Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Therapist who will empower and support youth and families with serious behavioral, social, and emotional challenges.

The MST Therapist will provide clinical treatment and prevention evidenced-based services to families and their children enrolled in the program. Our MST Therapists work in the home, school and community and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, supporting families and providing learning opportunities for youth and promoting their optimal health.

Our ideal candidate will possess the sound knowledge and skills required to:

  • Ensure delivery of service is in a manner consistent with standards and guidelines established by funders and state law.
  • Ensure that service delivery efforts are rooted in current best practice principles as outlined by the family centered principles of the Hawaii Children and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP).
  • Documents all contacts thoroughly and in clear, concise and timely fashion using non-judgmental language.
  • Maintain strict adherence to the MST model of therapy and is competent with the MST Analytical Process (Do-Loop). Our MST Therapists receive training in the MST Model from day one of hire!

Education /Training:

Master’s degree in Social Work or related field plus at least one year of experience working in care or treatment of youth in a mental health or educational setting,


Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field plus five years’ experience working in the care or treatment of youth in a mental health or educational setting.


  1. Possesses and maintains a valid driver’s license and daily access to an automobile.
  2. Possesses and maintains proof of no-fault insurance.

This is full time, exempt, typically 40 hours per week, with a non-traditional and flexible work schedule. Evening and weekend work often occurs to meet the needs of families served and must be available for on-call crisis response 24 hours, 7 days a week.
