Job Description

Position Summary:

The ITM Implementation Manager will assist ITM Consultants and Providers in supporting programs to effectively implement the ITM model and will assist implementing organizations directly in a variety of ways to ensure the success of the ITM programs. The ITM Implementation Manager will be the primary point of contact within MST Services for all issues related to the successful implementation of ITM. The Manager works collaboratively with the ITM developers, MSTS Adaptation Lead, ITM Consultants, and the MSTS Clinical Director  as well as with Network Partner Directors and MNP’s that support ITM sites within their respective Networks. The ITM Implementation Manager will also be available to train ITM programs and provide ITM Consultation as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with ITM model developers to incorporate updates into training and program development materials based on new research developments and lessons learned through implementation of ITM.
  • Works closely with MST-FIT and other MST model developers and purveyors to ensure seamless coordination between ITM programs and MST-related after-care
  • Contributes to the ongoing development of the processes for strengthening and disseminating the ITM model, including takes accountability for identifying and addressing patterns of needs that emerge in implementation and scale up of the ITM model.
  • Works collaboratively with involved internal and external stakeholders when significant problems arise with organizations or sites that are experiencing a threat to the fidelity or the on-going continuation of ITM programs.
  • Provides input when notified that ITM Consultants are having significant difficulties in performing job responsibilities and participates in decision making about the next steps and corrective action plans as needed.
  • Responsible for overseeing the development of training materials for ITM orientation training, “booster” materials, supervisor training, and QA procedures.
  • Coordinates with the ITM Developer and/or Adaptation Lead to determine how the ITM materials would be adapted or augmented for the training of ITM sites as needed
  • Responsible for on-going training and coaching of some ITM Consultants and supporting ongoing development including knowledge base and development, clinical consultation, ITM staff training and development, ITM orientation training, booster training, and program CQI management.
  • Participates in clinical interviews for hiring new ITM Consultants and converges with model developer and Adaptation Lead on the clinical assessment.
  • Works collaboratively with the ITM Developer and/or Adaptation Lead to plan for ITM Consultant workload assignments.
  • Works collaboratively with the Training Coordinator to ensure ITM trainings are scheduled and provided effectively.
  • Delivers ITM trainings (e.g. ITM Orientations, other related trainings as needed.)
  • Participates in organizational leadership roles and contributes to the ongoing development of the MSTS Organization.
  • Other duties or tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis.

  • Has a strong understanding of MST model, including experience in theoretical background and Program CQI elements

Credentials and Experience:

  • PhD. in psychology or related field, or Master’s Degree with equivalent experience
  • Prior substantial experience and success as an ITM Consultant and/or MST Supervisor, MST Program Manager, MST Expert

Special Requirements:

  • Reside in New York, New York or in close proximity (able to commute daily as needed)
  • Occasional lifting/carrying 20 pounds or more
  • Travel of 35% to 50% of work time
  • Prolonged sitting
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, talk and hear
  • Vision ability required; includes close vision
  • Prolonged use of PC/computer and telephone
