Job Description

*$4k Sign-On/Retention Payment and $4k Relocation Assistance*

Position Overview:

  • Carry a caseload of 4 to 6 families
  • Meet with families  at home or in the community 3 times per week
  • Treatment sessions may be individual or family/marital depending on circumstance
  • Commute 60 to 80 miles depending on family location
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on familial goals 
  • Complete documentation and paperwork on a weekly basis
  • Participate in team meetings 3 times per week to help enhance clinical skills 
  • Develop strong community relationships
  • Provide afterhours on-call support to youth and families (24 hrs M-F, rotating weekends) 

Additional Information:

  •  Flexible schedule (based around the availability of youth and families)


  • Masters degree in a social services field (preferred)
  • Bachelors degree in a social services field (required)
  • Working with at-risk youth in a paid position or volunteer/internship capacity (required)
  • Valid driver’s license, a vehicle to use for work purposes and auto insurance (required)
  • Experience in a clinical setting (preferred)

North Carolina's Qualified Professional Guidelines:

  • Masters degree in a social services field with one year of full-time (post-graduation) experience with at-risk youth
  • Bachelors degree in a social services field with two years of full-time (post-graduation) experience with at-risk youth
  • Licensed applicants must hold a one of the following licenses in the state of North Carolina: LPCA, LMFTA, LCSWA, LPA or LCSASA

*Acceptable experience must be centered around at-risk youth (ie. youth with one or more of the following behaviors: truancy, alcohol/substance abuse, verbal/physical aggression, runaway, antisocial tendencies, etc.)
