Overview: The Clinical Supervisor, (Team Lead), provides support, supervision and oversight to the team which provides intensive in-home services to families in which the identified caretaker is involved with DCF and has an identified substance use disorder. The children are ages 6-17 and are with the CT Department of Children and Families protective services due to neglect and physical abuse concerns where there is also a concern about the impact of parental substance abuse on the family. A central part of the therapy model is supported treatment focused on monitoring and treating parental substance abuse. We provide multiple sessions per week with the family, 24-hour crisis support, extensive safety planning and monitoring, and case management services.
